From the first time Home Improvement of Colorado came into our home and showed us what they do, to when they finished the job, Kitchen refacing, building an island on wheels(love it), new drawers, new counter tops, and two double sink vanities.  They did an awesome job.  The attention to detail, impressive beyond belief.  JD knows his woodcraft.    You can see the old honey oak in one of the pictures.  You can see the overlay in one of the pics, one of the vanities, and the kitchen.  The wife and I love the final product all around.  HOME IMPROVEMENT may not be the cheapest, but they are the best. Lori came out to present choices, details, etc.  She was so patient and knowledgeable as I had many questions and a few changes after the initial quote.  Also, Lori communicated with me continuously throughout the process.  Mark, Lori’s husband, came out to measure and was very thorough as this requires a very methodical and precise process.  I could tell I was working with professional perfectionists.  JD Salas, who was the installer for many years, is now owner/installer.  So, all take great pride in delivering amazing service and product.  He is definitely a master at what he does; detailed, meticulous, and a great guy.  And, I’m very very particular so he definitely met my expectations. This is less than 1/3 of the cost of new cabinets if your boxes are still in great shape.  The cabinet wood doors/drawers are exceptional quality. The team of Lori, Mark, and JD are wonderful people. You will be very happy with their work. I highly recommend them! We can highly recommend Home Improvements of Colorado. Lori, Mark & JD were all terrific from start to finish. In addition to refacing our kitchen cabinets, we also needed to replace our custom vanity in the master bathroom while at the same time doing a tub to shower conversion and remodel of the master bath. Communication between our two teams of contractor & Lori, et al was great. We had some delays which are common in remodeling projects, but Lori, Mark & JD were not phased and were very patient with everything. JD did a masterful job installing the new boxes in the master bath, then came back to reface both bathroom and kitchen. We could not be more pleased with the results. JD is a perfectionist who takes a lot of pride in his work, and rightly so. Everything is beautiful. The choices in wood, styles and colors are plentiful and we appreciated Lori's expertise and input. The job was done fairly quickly, efficiently and with respect for our home and JD also did a nice job cleaning up. We do all of our projects with popular Soft Close Hinges. With this hinge, the doors close very gently with no noise whatsoever. 

Cabinet refacing is recognized as a green option for kitchen remodeling. It is estimated that 90% of homeowners keep the same basic layout of their kitchens. This makes refacing a more eco-friendly option since less waste is being sent to landfills. In most cases, we can also modify your existing cabinets to allow for changes, such as upgrading to eco-friendly appliances.

Cabinet Refacing Options

A popular option with cabinet refacing is to replace a few or all of your upper cabinets. We can install new cabinets to create extra storage if you have a soffit or additional headroom above your existing cabinets.
